Confluence Cloud Compatibility

Description

28/07/20 - Update

The scope of this issue has now been modified to focus only on the implementation of Confluence Cloud compatibility for Scroll HTML Exporter. The decision to concentrate on Scroll HTML Exporter, rather than all our other Scroll v3 Exporter apps (eg. Scroll EclipseHelp/CHM/DocBook/EPUB Exporter), comes following:

  • internal discussions regarding our app strategy and the future direction of these apps

  • the evaluation of the actual customer demand for introducing these apps on Confluence Cloud

Should you have any questions regarding our decision to focus only on Scroll HTML Exporter for Confluence Cloud, please feel free to reach out to us via support@k15t.com and we will be happy to answer any questions/queries.

Currently, Scroll Word Exporter and Scroll PDF Exporter are the only Scroll Exporter apps available on Confluence Cloud. We should also introduce Confluence Cloud compatibility for Scroll HTML Exporter.

Recently, we have released Scroll Viewport for Cloud and for some Scroll HTML Exporter users, this new cloud app may provide an alternative solution for cloud users. Specifically, for users who have been previously exporting content to HTML in order to upload the contents publicly for users/readers to consume (ie. for a Help Center). For more information you can read more here to discover if Scroll Viewport for Cloud could be an alternative solution to Scroll HTML Exporter when using Confluence Cloud. If your use case is not fulfilled by Scroll Viewport for Cloud, please feel free to add more comments/details regarding your requirements in the comment section for this ticket.
