Currently, when a user searches (via Ctrl + F) or an inline comment is added to content that is within the control of the Expando macro, if the content is collapsed (ie. not shown on the page), it is not possible to view the searched content/ inline comment without expanding the element.
If possible, we should improve this behaviour so that when a user navigates through the available inline comments and searches content on the page, ones within collapsed sections should also show.
thanks for creating. Ideally the expando controlled section would automatically expand when someone navigates to an inline comment in that section.
Hi Rene, thanks for your post. Currently, we don't have any updates for this issue. Please continue to follow the ticket to be notified of any status changes. Thanks, Thomas (K15t)
Hi K15t team
Just wanted to report a likely related, but more severe issue:
Users fail to click on a Level 2 heading in a Table of Content macro when the parent Level 1 heading is collapsed using the Expando macro
This issue means Expando is impacting navigation in general.
I understand it’s an unsupported plugin, but on the other hand you are also gathering interest for a cloud based version. We would highly appreciate if you could address this issue in the near future.
