Incompatibility error in the remote target space if publishing from a space with activated duplicate page titles feature

Description

Prerequisites

  • Two Confluence instances

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Create a space with one page in Confluence 1

  2. Create an initial version, activate Duplicate Page Titles feature

  3. Create a new space in Confluence 2

  4. Publish the space from Confluence 1 to existing space in Confluence 2

  5. Open the target space in the remote Confluence

Expected result:
The space is displayed without any warnings

Actual result:

  • All pages display "This space is not compatible with the currently installed version of Scroll Versions or Scroll Translations. Please check the log files for more information. After the situation causing the error has been resolved, you can restart the upgrade of this space here."

  • Upgrade space link displays "This space has been created by an older version of Scroll Versions or Scroll Translations and has not been updated to the currently installed product version 3.7.6."

Workaround:

  • If Scroll Versions is installed on remote Confluence activate Duplicate Page Title feature in the target space before publishing
